The D-CALC works on the principle of capacitive transfer of impulses in the water, through the walls of the pipe.
The apparatus generates impulses of specific form, amplitude and frequency, which are checked in the laboratory. The impulses are transmitted by means of coils on the piping, on either side of the apparatus. These coils act as capacitor foils.
The impulses transmitted to the water provoke the crystalline nucleation of salts in solution and stimulate the existing germs in such a way that the formation of calcium carbonate crystals is stimulated within the liquid itself, and not on the walls of the pipes.
physical process This physical process does not modify the chemical composition of the water and does not alter its natural quality at all. There is no polluting discharge into the environment. Apart from other advantages, the principle involved therefore consist of a purely mechanical action which is essentially different from that of polyphosphate regulators or water softeners, which act instead on the chemica composition of the water.
